Co-Founder, CTO
Riccardo
AI Systems Architecture · Engineering Leadership · Production Reliability
Riccardo leads Marmio's technology and engineering direction, working at the point where AI models, software and industrial systems must become one reliable operating capability.
He defines the architecture, technical standards and engineering choices that determine whether a system can move from a promising idea to dependable production.
His experience at Tetra Pak included developing and integrating AI systems for complex industrial environments, with a focus on edge deployment, computer vision and machine vision.
That work required connecting heterogeneous data, software applications and PLC systems, bringing intelligence into environments where reliability, integration and operational continuity are essential.
Riccardo's expertise covers the full technology stack: AI models, backend and frontend applications, APIs, cloud infrastructure, automation and data platforms.
He has applied this range to industrial systems, content generation tools and visual and semantic intelligence platforms for large textile archives.
His work goes beyond implementing models. He defines how the parts must work together, challenges technical assumptions, reduces delivery risk and creates the conditions for systems to remain secure, maintainable and ready to evolve.
At Marmio, Riccardo turns complex opportunities into production architecture and reliable software. He remains directly accountable from the first technical decision through integration, deployment and continuous improvement.
Beyond the work
Outside work, Riccardo is drawn to environments that reward depth, precision and independence: freediving, sailing and unfamiliar parts of the world.
Different settings, same instinct: go deep, understand the system and make it work in the real world.
UNDERSTAND THE SYSTEM. DESIGN FOR REALITY. BUILD FOR PRODUCTION.
